Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgement.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. [...] And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

Review:
First: I read though quite a few children's books, but I have until now always a little distance from the
Dark Romance
held nearby, because I just thought that I was using this kind of books can not do anything. More by chance I then knocked in the library on this novel. And I must say: better than hoped.

Well, my expectations were not high, but this novel is characterized by strong characters and a good setting out. Nora is a friendly, from the beginning, perhaps because of the fact that the book from the first-person perspective is told. Throughout the book one notices, however, that Nora is sometimes a little naive and takes longer to understand relationships. The other characters remain part of something pale and stereotyped manner, how to Vee: the best friend the plot, with its lively and spontaneous nature of the book is to break something.
The story is logical and understandable, the dark atmosphere pervades the entire book and builds to a base voltage. The scenes between Nora and patch might have been expanded further. was particularly the showdown at the end of the book but I liked it there.
At times statements were perhaps a little sprinkled too hastily and it will not explain everything. I was not particularly bad, since I embarked on this book with the knowledge that two other parts (English title: Crescendo & Silence) will follow.

Conclusion:
An exciting youth book, probably meant for girls. A fine book in between, which probably especially in rain and dark sky will look good. Anyone who reads a lot in the field of Dark Romance, the characters will probably feel a little stereotypical. When you open challenge, you can have as an adult reader's fun.
